2014 Marching Podcast Award Winners!!

We had another great year of marching band performances and were blessed to do another show for the Marching Podcast Awards. I will be announcing the winners and honorable mentions on Twitter. This year Rashad Watters and James McDaniel from BandTube.com and Brian Rhodes, our marching Aggie, were on the show with me; and we had a good time. Shout out to my crab brother, Troy Milton, who was stuck in a snow storm in Detroit and could not call in to the show. Just like last year, our overlapping decisions were awarded the consensus selection, and we had to mention other schools because it is hard sometimes to settle on one band.  Here are the winners and the honorable mentions for the 2014 Marching Podcast Awards!

The 2012 Marching Podcast People’s Choice Award Winners

When we started the new format for the 90 Degree Show, the first game we covered was the Jackson State vs. Southern University game. I did not have the idea to post the voting for which band “won” the battle on our website every week until the following week with the Winston Salem State vs. Livingstone game. Our listeners, who are coming to the website and casting their vote for our weekly battle of the bands, have helped to make this a huge success, and we thank you. For those who have not cast your vote for our weekly battle of the bands, check out the website to vote, see what we are to listen to some of the podcast episodes. We are coming to the end of the year, and I would like to post the winners of the voting and the percentages they won by. Next year, we will be prepared for Week 1 of the season, so for 2013 the list will be longer and therefore better, but for now we will post the 2012 People’s Choice Winners for The Marching Podcast Weekly Featured College Marching Band Battles of 2012.
